In the morning, I'm making waffles!

So I woke up today for my dreaded 8 A.M. class. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, we watched My Fair Lady which although I hated as a child I find it to be pretty funny and I couldn't help but feel that there was a homosexual undertone to the whole movie. So after class I went to the cafeteria with my friend and got breakfast. Now there isn't anything special about our school's breakfast except for one thing, waffle irons...as in do it yourself waffle irons. Normally there are two but today there was only one, so I saw that it was vacant and I decided it would be a good time to make my waffle. The second I got there a lady got behind me to make her waffle but she had to wait because I already poured the batter, so i poured the batter, closed the iron, flipped it and waited. 1 minute later I hear the bell go off and I instantly began salivating at the thought of a syrupy waffle in my mouth. So the moment of truth comes, I open the iron and my waffle is burnt to a crisp and stuck to the iron. I tried and tried but couldn't remove it, the lady behind me was getting antsy I could tell and started giving me tips, she told me to remove it with my hand, yeah and burn my fucking finger off? Thanks but no thanks. Then she asked if I sprayed the Iron with the Pam (cooking spray) I paused for a second realizing the error in my attempt at making a waffle. "Yes." I replied as to not look like a complete idiot. Anyway, she accepted defeat and turned away realizing she wouldn't be eating waffles today as would not the rest of the school. So I decided to get pancakes instead...but they tasted like shit so I didn't even eat them. So the moral of this story is to lie when asked if you remembered a simple step that you completely forgot.

Bad dream

So I had somewhat of a nightmare last night, I was sitting in one of my classes (It isn't an actual class I have) and the professor was this large bald man with a tan tint to his skin, thick glasses and extremely blue eyes. He also had a light German accent and a very deep voice and when he would talk he would get in your face. Anyway the dream was me sitting in the classroom and he was going on a rant telling me about how people are evil and how there is no good in the world and when he would say thing like how people are evil there would be images flashing through my head of people doing evil things throughout the world. He also told me how America isn't the strongest nation anymore and I saw this satellite in space that the U.S. shot missiles at but we couldn't blow it up and after we stopped shooting at it the satellite shot a beam down to earth and blew shit up like cities. Then after that the professor man told me that the only reason governments existed was the start wars and keep the world population from getting too big and I saw soldiers going around killing people.
All in all it was a pretty shitty dream.

Public Enemy No. 1

So, it, happened again today, it's up to 6 people in total from my school now and I'm sure that number will continue to grow as the days go by. I felt it coming this time from the moment the bitch opened her mouth, I probably should have ran to avoid it and that way I wouldn't be writing this post. Of course though I stayed and let it happen the thing that gets me is every time someone says it there's always some asshole who has the jump on the gay boat and all of the sudden agree, "Oh my God! You're right! I didn't see it at first but now that you mention it and put a thought in my head for me, something I haven't done since I decided to start give off the impression that I look like a dumbfuck, I totally see it now." At this point all I can do is curse and reach for my knife that I never seem to have on me.
By this point you may be wondering what exactly could I be talking about? I am of course talking about being accused of someone famous: Ryan Stiles. Now I don't necessarily mind being compared to a celebrity (Even if he is on the C list along with other scum bags such as Vanilla Ice, Steve Guttenberg and the guy from Joe Millionaire), but can't I be compared to someone who resembles me a little bit more like Heath ledger? Oh well 'such is life'.

Really?

Lets put a smile on that face.

So I decided to post something to try and cheer everyone up, weather or not this little story of mine does this trick is up to you to decide but I think it is an interesting story and I hope the rest of you will agree with me.
Well about a week or so ago at around, oh I don't know 330. Me and my friend Jordan were eating some Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, I rather like Mint Chocolate Chip because of its distinction from other ice cream flavors and its unique alien green color that you don't find anywhere else except for the aforementioned aliens, which are harder to find then Santa Clause on Easter so you're better off eating the ice cream if you ever want to see that color. Anyway we were going through our ice cream, Jordan and I, when Jordan pointed out to me that I had an awful lot of chocolate chips at the bottom of my bowl which really hit a nerve because I didn't want chocolate chips I wanted Mint Ice cream but at the bottom of my bowl was more chips then cream which I don't find suitable. the joke however is on me because Chocolate Chip is in the name Mint Chocolate Chip, as a matter a fact it's 2/3rds the name which means that technically if the ice cream company wanted to they could put in more chocolate and chips then mint. It's really a power hungry relationship that the chocolate chips have with the mint, you see Cookies & Cream share the title separated by an & symbol meaning that one is not greater then the other and they have learned to share the title and the amount of each that comes in an ice cream container.
So back to the story at hand, Jordan and I decided that we didn't want to eat chocolate chips and if we were going to pay for ice cream we only wanted mint. So we decided much to the dismay of my now half asleep legs that we were going to go to our local super market and search for a singular "Mint" ice cream. We walked out of the building and towards the parking lot, it's a very lonely walk to take if you ever have to do it at night in the cold. You feel isolated and a constant fear of being attacked by wild turkeys which seem to grow an inch every day. Finally and safely we made it to Jordan's 1988 beat up, white, Honda Civic hatchback. This car has had more owners then I've had Presidents in my lifetime, it's also very beat up and there is a five o'clock shadow of rust bordering the bottom of it's square frame. Don't get me wrong it's a work of art in it's own right but at the same time it gives off a humble feeling. So we get into the car and I say my silent prayer that I say every time I enter his junked up automobile.
The trip seemed much longer then it really was, rainy weather will do that though but we finally made it there. Once we went inside we walked around various isles until the squeaking sound on our shoes went away, it's funny how many different and random types of foods there are, for instance when your mother comes home from the super market with grocery bags, they'll most likely have the same food in them that they had the last time she went grocery shopping because shopping for food is like keeping up a tradition, there is little room for alteration when shopping for a family and very rarely will you introduce a knew food in fear of no one liking it and having it be a total waste. So after trudging up numerous isles we got to the frozen food section, which has always been my 2nd favorite isle after dairy, and we noticed a man standing about 2/5 down the isle just staring into one of the fogged up windows no shopping cart, no hand basket, nothing. Well when we walked up to him we realized that he was standing in front of the door that the cases of ice cream were in so we waited a few second before being forced to ask him to move, something I hate to do in a grocery store because no matter how polite you are, unless you have a great smile you'll always seem rude and in a hurry when asking someone to move. So we asked him and not only did he move, he walked away empty handed. Jordan ad I never knew why he was staring at the ice cream for so long but we assume he had the same problem as we did. So we opened the door searched frantically around the glacier of cream and ice but much to our dismay we found nothing, this stood out among a select other thing in my life as being anti climatic to a point of depression. The ride home was a quietly and equally long journey, Ironically though the sun came out. Well after about 15 minutes of a quiet ride plus the 2 minutes of silence leading into the car Jordan finally said what I had been thinking all the way back to when I woke my legs up.
"You know." he said with the sound of Paul McCartney and Wings playing in the background, "Chocolate Chips aren't all the bad I mean they don't take anything from the mint flavor, if anything they compliment each other."
"Maybe."

Why so blue panda bear? :(

It has come to my attention that many of us are feeling down, I am going to try my best to make a post to cheer everyone up, in the mean time listen to this song and I guarantee you will start rocking out and feeling better for at least a little bit.

Helen Killer

I don't know what to say about this except amazing. My room mate and I were talking about Helen Keller and he came across a comic book called Helen Killer, just read this and decide how awesome this is.via Wikipedia:
"In 2008 Arcana Comics began publishing Helen Killer, a comic book by Andrew Kreisberg with art by Matthew Rice. In it, a college aged Keller is given a device which allows her to see and hear and which increases her physical abilities, at which point she is hired to protect the President of the United States."

brain

What language do we think in? I speak English so does that mean that I think in English? It's easy to say yes but impossible to prove. Also does this mean that when I was young and couldn't speak I also couldn't have clear thoughts? Dun Dun Duuunnnn.

Nicknames.

Admit it you want a nick name, not only do you want a nickname but you want a nickname that will earn you respect and make you sound like the baddest mother fucker in the world. Basically you want to give yourself a nickname. The reason I am ranting about nick names is because I just read an article about the nicknames that the secret service gave to the Obamas, they are all pretty bad ass and if it is one of the quirks that you get with being the president then I want to run for office. Anyway Barack's name is Renegade, how fucking sweet is that? Would you fuck with someone whose name is renegade? I sure wouldn't. His wife's name is Renaissance, not nearly as badass as Renegade but it still gets the point across. Baracks daughter Malia will be named Radiance, although it doesn't sound that cool, it does sound like it could be the name of one of the X-men, like if Jubilee was black her name would be Radiance and all of the sudden that yellow trench coat isn't so gay. Barack's other daughter Sasha gets the coolest nickname of everybody IMO; Rosebud. Let that settle in for a little bit and then admit that it's the coolest nickname in the history of nicknames or coolness. It can work for both gender, for instance if you overheard someone on the phone talking about a man named Rosebud, you would think I bet that guy is good with a sword and/or throwing knives. And finally Barack Obama's Grandmother's name is "Rotting"......
So anyway, I decided to take this a step further, a lot of my friends read this blog and I'm going to assign them nick names.(Take your nick name and be happy with it)
Dave Regg: Sweet Cheeks Regg or "Sweet Cheeks" for short
Sean Scott: Sodomizer
Andrew Dinh: Lucky Stripes
William Oliver: Cocksy
Briana Giasullo: "BoomBoom" Giasullo
Liz Day: Liz 'The Kid" Day (Ungrateful)
There's more nicknames coming but my nyquil is starting to kick in.

One of those days

Is life good? What if a person grew up never loving anyone and never being loved, but at the same time they never knew love existed, would this be a good thing or a bad thing? Is life in general a gift or is it just one big burden where the bad things that happen to you outweigh the good things? There is an infinite amount of knowledge out there but it is impossible to have infinite knowledge and know everything. Does the thought that you will never know everything there is to know make you mad? We don't know what's on the other side of a black hole, we have no idea how large space really is but we have glimpses of it. Imagine walking around 3,000 years ago with no religion and no government and asking your self why are we here? There was life on this planet before us and there will be life on it after us.
Sorry for being so down and emo, it's just one of those days where I felt like writing what's on my mind. Check out this cool picture of Machu Picchu:

New President, New Era.

So it's Thursday November 6th, Obama has been the President Elect for 2 days and it's a pretty awesome feeling knowing that we have an African American President. Let me star off by saying that I voted McCain, when I got back to my school I watched the election with my room mate and it soon became very clear that Obama was going to win I wasn't too disappointed though. After CNN unofficially announced that Obama was the President elect My room mate and I went to one of the dorms where there was a huge celebration going on outside of, it was amazing people were singing and dancing and just proud to be American, I don't think people have been this proud to be American since 911. I hope that this pride continues to grow because it sure has felt like there hasn't been much to be proud of if you were American. So after the cops broke up the party (Which sucks because no one was being destructive they were just celebrating) I went back to my room to watch our soon to be new President give his speech, this is what really got to me. It was a very powerful emotional speech full of promises of a better tomorrow, the cameras would show the crowd and many of them were crying and then they showed a shot of Jesse Jackson crying, I am not a huge fan of his and personally think he is kind of a douche but when they showed him crying there was so much emotion coming out of him that I knew in a million years that I would never be able to experience. Here's a man who has devoted his whole life to the advancement of black people and their rights as citizens and he has lived to see an African American elected as President, if you had asked him 3 years ago if he thought that could happen I'm sure his honest answer would have been "no".
So I suppose the whole point of this article is to say that something got to me that night when I saw all those people crying, many of whom were people on my campus who if you saw walking down the street you would probably think they were incapable of crying, it got to me and I although I may not agree with some of Barack Obama's stances on some issues I am excited and happy that he is going to be our new President and I think that he is what our country needs.

Election Day

I'm sitting here, approximately 14 hours before I am going to be casting my vote for President of the free world and I am not 100% sure on who I want to vote for.
